My Creator Stack for Gears Content
Capture, edit, and upload workflow for YouTube guides and Twitch VODs—what actually matters.
People ask what gear I use. The honest answer: consistency beats expensive toys. Here’s the stack I actually stick with.
Capture
- Console or PC gameplay feed into a capture card
- Dedicated mic with a simple arm (noise floor matters more than brand flex)
- Overlay kept minimal so the game stays readable
Edit
For YouTube guides I cut tight intros, chapter markers, and on-screen callouts. For VODs I only clip high-signal moments—full streams live on Twitch.
Publish cadence
- One long-form guide or ranked breakdown per week when possible
- Clips and shorts from the best stream moments
- Community posts when something meta-relevant drops
If you’re building your own channel: ship a schedule you can keep for three months before optimizing thumbnails into oblivion.
